#BocaRatonSportsCarRaces
The Annual Boca Raton Sports Car Races were SCCA regional events held in South Florida during the 1950s, using temporary circuits laid out on the roads and airfield sections near Boca Raton. Part of the growing network of early Florida sports-car meetings—alongside New Smyrna Beach, Miami’s Orange Bowl events and the expanding Sebring scene—they drew a diverse field of privateers from across the Southeast. Known for their fast, open layouts and for the strong local enthusiasm typical of Florida’s post-war motorsport culture, the Boca Raton races contributed to shaping the state’s reputation as a lively hub for regional road racing during the decade.
