#BobbyBaird
William Robert "Bobby" Baird was an Irish racing driver, born on June 2, 1912, in Ulster, Northern Ireland, and died on July 25, 1953, in Snetterton (Norfolk) at the age of 41, due to an accident during a sports car race in a Ferrari. An heir of the Baird family, founders of the Belfast Telegraph, Bobby turned necessity into a virtue due to his family's refusal to support his racing career. He became famous for his ability to revive cars that were considered beyond repair, enabling him to continue racing.
We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
