#AostaPila

The Aosta–Pila hill climb is a historic Italian motorsport event held in the Aosta Valley, featuring a challenging mountain route that ascends from the city of Aosta to the alpine resort of Pila at approximately 1,800 meters above sea level. First organized in 1962, the course spans roughly 10 to 12 kilometers of narrow, winding roads with significant elevation gain and a sequence of demanding corners that test both driver skill and vehicle performance under sustained load and altitude change. Traditionally open to competition vehicles including sports prototypes, single-seaters, and touring cars, the event has also hosted historic car categories and is frequently included in the Italian Historic Hill Climb Championship (CIVSA). The race is known for its technical complexity, high-altitude setting, and scenic alpine backdrop, drawing considerable attention from both participants and enthusiasts.
