#AlfaRomeoGiuliettaSprintVeloce
Introduced in 1956, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce was the high-performance version of the Giulietta Sprint coupé. Designed by Bertone and powered by an uprated 1,290 cc twin-cam engine with twin carburettors, it combined increased power with reduced weight through extensive use of aluminium panels and simplified trim on early examples. Developed for enthusiastic road use and competition, the Sprint Veloce achieved considerable success in circuit racing, endurance events, rallies and hill climbs, while also serving as the basis for several specialised derivatives, including the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Zagato (SZ).
We'll tell the story of this model on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
