#1000MilesofSebring
The 1000 Miles of Sebring is a round of the FIA World Endurance Championship held at Sebring International Raceway in Florida, USA. Introduced in 2019, it is contested over a distance of 1000 miles or a maximum of 8 hours, making it one of the toughest events on the calendar due to the notoriously bumpy former airfield surface and demanding climate conditions. The race traditionally opens the WEC season and runs in the same week as the IMSA 12 Hours of Sebring, creating the so-called “Super Sebring” weekend. In 2023 it hosted the official Hypercar debut of Ferrari with the 499P, marking the marque’s return to the top class of endurance racing after fifty years.
