
Mille Miglia 2025: Vesco on Top, Automotive Masterpieces in the Top Ten

The 43rd re-enactment of the 1000 Miglia concluded in Brescia on June 21, after five intense race days, covering 1,900 km and featuring over 400 historic cars in motion. This year's edition was particularly special, reviving the legendary figure-eight route of the pre-war era, symbolically uniting not only North and South, but also the Adriatic East and the Tyrrhenian West.
The victors, once again, were Andrea Vesco and Fabio Salvinelli, who, at the wheel of their trusted Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS, claimed their sixth consecutive victory. They faced stiff competition from Daniel Andres Erejomovich and Gustavo Llanos in a 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 SS, who even managed to take the lead at the end of day four. Tonconogy and Ruffini rounded out the podium in a 1931 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS.
“A race, a journey, a collective ritual” – the Red Arrow once again turned every stage into a living postcard of Italy’s soul.
Among the 30 crews driving cars documented by Automotive Masterpieces, 24 successfully reached the finish line – a remarkable achievement underscoring the resilience and prestige of these historic vehicles. The two best placements among them were achieved by two Lancia Lambda spiders, both finishing in the top ten overall:
