STARTING POINT
The 1948 Cisitalia 202 Cabriolet Gran Sport (Stabilimenti Farina), chassis no. 089SC was a car with a very well known history, owned by a Cisitalia expert and historian, already published in books and exhibited in the Bonfanti-VIMAR museum.
RESEARCH
Also in this case, of a car with a known and traced past, there was room for some discoveries. Research in documentary and photographic archives has produced testimonial evidence of the car's participation in two sporting events in 1949: the Como - Lieto Colle and the Coppa della Toscana, driven by the driver Paola Della Chiesa.
