Of the 1933 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Gran Sport (Carrozzeria Castagna Milano), chassis no. 121215037, no vintage photos were known.
RESEARCH
Historical research has been particularly demanding on this car, born and used for purely tourist and private use and not having appeared on public racetracks or events covered by the press. It proceeded going backwards like a shrimp! By following the thread of owners backwards and placing them in chronological order, we traced back to a former English owner who emigrated to Australia with photos of gatherings, discovery, restoration and a copy of the log book. From this we have traced back to the previous life and also to find family photos that portray the car in its early years.
